Reader analytics and its data boundary
This archive collects limited first-party analytics to understand which works are opened and how the archive is used. Analytics is not used to identify a reader as a real-world person.
What is recorded
Page and paper openings; PDF-open and download-button clicks; reading-progress thresholds; approximate active reading time; the referring domain; and approximate IP-derived country, region, and city.
What is not recorded
Anonymous analytics does not retain names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, referrer query contents, or cross-site advertising profiles. IP and browser information is used only to produce a one-way anonymous identifier that rotates monthly; the raw value is not written to the database. Refreshing the same page by the same anonymous reader within 24 hours is not counted as a new visit. Traffic from the authorised administrator account and browsers used to open the analytics panel is excluded.
Limits of measurement
A page opening does not prove that a paper was read; 100% progress does not prove comprehension; and a download-button click does not prove that a file was retained. City information may be inaccurate or absent because of VPNs, mobile networks, or institutional gateways.
Do Not Track
When your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, first-party analytics events are not recorded.
